New jumbo strawberry brand launched

Strawberry season just got a bit sweeter with the debut of Naturipe Farms’ Mighty Reds™ jumbo strawberries, which come in a bigger size with more taste and sweetness.

With wash away labels, sustainable packaging was created to hold up to 15 berries.

“These delicious berries are so big, we can barely fit two in our hand. The bigger the berry, the more there is to slice, share, and eat,” says Jerry Moran, vice president of sales. “We are so excited to see the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our growers pay off in such a big way.”

Mighty Reds will be on full display in new single-layer 20-ounce clamshell packaging. With wash away labels, sustainable packaging was created to hold up to 15 berries. These premium strawberries will be available for a limited time.

The berries are the newest member of Naturipe’s family of extra-large berries. These jumbo berries join the company’s proprietary big blueberries, Mighty Blues™. Both of these huge berries are vibrant in color and pack a burst of flavor.

“We are always looking for new and innovative ways to deliver berries that customers have come to expect from us,” says Jim Roberts, president of sales. “We are confident consumers will find these to be the sweetest, biggest, and best strawberries around!”

The strawberries are hand-picked by the company’s California growers in Oxnard, Santa Maria, Salinas, and Watsonville.
