Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility and Buitendijk Slaman are joining forces

Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility and Buitendijk Slaman will be merging to form one leading brand in the market. The merger will bring together the strengths of both companies to create a stronger and more competitive entity in the industry.

Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility and Buitendijk Slaman will be working more closely together and will continue under the name Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility. Buitendijk Slaman is active in the bell pepper market with harvesting processing solutions in the packing hall and a range for complete greenhouse logistics. Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility also develops and produces scissors lifts, harvesting carts, and AGVs for use in greenhouses. The companies have been intensively working together to develop a completely new integrated product range. These machines will be sold under the name Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility.

The merger will have no consequences for the staff. Due to the growth of the companies, production will continue at both locations. The factory in Asten has been converted to assembly lines where large series can be built. The location in Bleiswijk focuses on smaller series and special construction. This step will allow us to produce more efficiently and maximize the capacity of both locations. In the coming months, the last machines of the Buitendijk Slaman brand will roll out of the factory. The company will, of course, continue to provide service to existing Buitendijk Slaman customers.

In the coming months, we will be building for the Berkvens brand to expand and further professionalize the dealer network. In addition, both production locations will be expanded with additional personnel to realize the growth.
