Mr. Louis de Kort, founder of Mivena ‘Specialist in special fertilizers’, will retire from the company on January 1st, 2023. Louis has a long track record in specialty fertilizers:42 years working in this industry, first with an American fertilizer company as Senior Vice President, and later in 2004, he started Mivena specialty fertilizer company with Mr. John Lambie (former Production Director at the same American fertilizer company). Mivena’s headquarters are in Waalwijk, and the production plant is in Maastricht, both located in The Netherlands.
Mivena produces controlled-release fertilizers (CRF), slow-release fertilizers (SRF), and compound water-soluble fertilizers (WSF), mainly for the European market. In the sectors of turf, field-grown crops, and substrate cultures, the Mivena top brands Granucote CRF, Field-cote CRF, Horti-cote CRF, Granuform SRF, and Granusol WSF are advised and sold through specially selected distributors.
Mivena CRF brands have the renewed unique low start and high-end release technology Durable CRF as their base. Durable CRF technology is biodegradable and is the most solid CRF technology proven in global trials. Granusol WSF is unique as this fertilizer is produced from high-quality, pristine raw materials only in a fully air-conditioned environment and vacuum-packed to prevent caking. Granuform SRF is a dust-free, top-quality slow-release technology MU-based fertilizer.
Mivena is a lean and means organized company with a strong customer focus, which is evidenced by the possibility of tailor-made products advised by Mivena’s sales managers and our partners.
As of January 1st, 2023, Coert Rasenberg will take over all responsibilities as CEO managing partner from Louis at Mivena.
On Wednesday, January 25th, 2023, at the global horticultural trade show IPM Essen, Louis de Kort will be present to personally say goodbye and thank all business relations at Mivena’s stand 3A82. You are more than welcome to visit Louis there.
