All these items belonging to this Dutch company specializing in processing fruits and vegetables will be sold under the digital hammer. The auction is currently open for bids. The auction will close at 10:00 on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
In 1933, Jan Levarht started selling vegetables he had grown himself from his cargo bicycle just outside Amsterdam. Business went so well that a few years later, he founded a wholesale company. He wanted to supply all and sundry with the best fruits and vegetables. That company grew into the family business J.M. Levarht & Zonen B.V. and became a major international player in the fruit and vegetable sector.

Come early 2022, and J.M. Levarht & Zonen B.V. is declared bankrupt. Troostwijk Auctions in Amsterdam is now offering all its machines, equipment, rolling stock, computers, and office furniture for sale online. That is on behalf of the trustees (Mr. M.R. van Zanten and Ms. M.N. De Groot of CMS advocaten in Amsterdam).
Various items will come under the hammer. That includes different machines for bag-forming, filling, sealing, pricing, packaging, check weight, labeling, and palletizing. There is also a weighing line, a film and sealing machine, conveyor belts, office furniture, and ICT equipment.
