Theo Stolze leaves role at Stolze for advisory function

Theo Stolze has officially stepped down from Stolze as of April 1st, 2022. He is currently responsible for the export activities of the company and is also a shareholder and board member of GreenV, the holding company that Stolze and Prins Group have been part of since early 2021. Theo Stolze will continue his work at GreenV as M&A advisor to help guide and shape the group's international growth ambitions.

In the time leading up to April 1st, Theo Stolze will transfer his responsibilities at Stolze. The agreement also establishes that Stolze will withdraw as a board member and shareholder of GreenV.

GreenV directors Ton Vernaus and Geert van Veen are pleased that Theo's wide-ranging knowledge and his network will remain accessible to GreenV to support the group's international M&A ambitions. "The board of directors and the shareholders have taken the initiative to ask Theo to operate in another capacity, to maintain focus and agility in the execution of our business plan. Theo deserves tremendous recognition for the way in which he has led Stolze Export to become a global market leader in greenhouse installations. He has always had a sharp eye for the emerging challenges that the international horticulture sector will face in the coming years. From the start, he was one of the major drivers behind HAL Investments' involvement as a shareholder and the eventual foundation of GreenV by the end of 2020. We look forward to continuing our work together with a renewed focus to achieve GreenV's ambitions."

Theo Stolze commented: "I am very proud of all the people who have worked with me and contributed to Stolze's success, and who will continue to do so within the group in the future. I have every confidence in that, also in my new role. We have laid a strong foundation on which to build toward the realisation of Stolze and GreenV's ambitions."

Pending the appointment of Theo Stolze's successor, John van der Wilk and Caspar de Jong in close cooperation with Kees Starmans will be the points of contact for international customers.
