Producing and offering high-quality varieties has always been Gautier Italia's motto, especially when it comes to the fresh tomato market in the cherry tomato segment.
Tiburtyno F1 fits the spring market challenges As is well known, the most attractive varieties in spring markets are those with a bright dark red color and a relatively small size. Tiburtyno F1 is an example of such a tomato, in which these elements are complemented by a robust rachis and a good post-harvest shelf-life.
"Tiburtyno F1 embodies all those characteristics that are sought after by each member of the tomato chain. To underpin our commitment, for some time now we have been producing audiovisuals that contribute to a better understanding of our varieties. The most important aspects of our product are presented here in a video that highlights the qualities of the Tiburtyno F1 cherry,” said Bruno Vacirca, Sicily sales manager for Gautier.

In terms of taste, the Tiburtyno F1 variety is well suited to the needs of the large-scale retail trade.
Tiburtyno F1 is a cherry with an unspecified, balanced, medium-vigor plant, with excellent continuity of production and earliness. It has a wide range of tolerances (HR:ToMV:0-2/Fol:0,1 IR: Ma/Mi/Mj/TYLCV). Clusters are regular, with strong, deep green rachis. Fruits are bright red in color.
Gautier Semences has focused on the excellent organoleptic characteristics of this variety, which also has a good shelf life. The average weight of each fruit is 15-20 grams.
