Foodiverse recreating the production process from seed to table through virtual reality

Foodiverse, a multinational with expertise in producing fresh and healthy food, will offer visitors to Fruit Attraction the opportunity to become the protagonists of its healthy revolution. The company will bring a virtual reality experience to the fair that recreates the process by which a seed becomes a fresh, healthy, and ready-to-eat product.

Participants in this innovative experience will be accompanied at every step by a virtual field technician called Phaedra, who will guide them on an immersive tour of the Foodiverse universe. The seedbed, the Agronomic Innovation Center, the Farmitank for vertical vegetable cultivation, open ground farms, or the fresh-cut processing plants will be some of the scenarios that can be visited and where it will be possible to interact. For example, to plant or harvest a vegetable.

The experience will be offered in a themed space and will allow visitors to learn about work processes, innovative cultivation methods, and techniques to reduce the use of water in the different processes, facilities with the latest technology or tools to ensure the quality, safety, and traceability of each product.

This interactive and virtual activity will be an essential part of Foodiverse's presence at the fair, where it will showcase its new products in its agricultural and pre-prepared convenience food range, marketed under its Sun&Vegs brand. At stand D-04, located in hall 7, the brand will also organize showcookings aimed at showing how to make use of all these products in healthy recipes that attendees will have the chance to taste.

Color and sustainability
The firm's presence at Fruit Attraction will revolve around two main elements: color and sustainability. Color is provided by a catalog of vegetables ranging from the green of broccoli to the purple of radishes, the yellow of the new zucchini or corn grown in fields and greenhouses, or the red of oak leaf.

Sustainability, which is a cross-cutting value, is directly reflected in an organic range that is growing every year. Marketed under the BIO Sun&Vegs brand, it includes a wide range of certified organic products, such as green zucchini, broccoli, broccoli florets, iceberg lettuce, corn, and radishes.

It is also working in this line with its packaging. Sun&Vegs will use Fruit Attraction to showcase its progress in reducing micronage and launching new formats with a fundamental premise: always using 100% recycled and recyclable material. Some innovations in plastic-free formats that guarantee quality and food safety include cardboard trays or banding with kraft paper tapes.
