Tomato brown rugose fruit virus emerges in Hungary

Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) has been detected in Hungary, national food safety authority NĂ©bih said on Monday, according to state news wire MTI.

ToBRFV was detected in probes at two farms, one in the northwest of the country and the other in the southeast. Plant quarantine measures were introduced at both farms, and experts are working to determine the source of the infection.
