Mexico: 157 acre acquisition announces start of Rising Park

"With the acquisition of 157 acres of land, deep well & water rights, Rising Farms is very happy to announce the birth of Rising Park," shares Pablo Ricaud, president with Rising Farms. By separating real estate from growing, the company wants to expand their greenhouse business rapidly. Realisation of stage 1, a 37 acre high-tech facility, packing area and a new HQ, will start this year.

"Located in the Bajio corridor - one of the best regions in Latin America, Rising Park will detonate our exponential growth within the same location," says Pablo. "We are not only using technology for sustainability and efficiency but also our geographical location for profitability. Our region's climate delta allows us to produce the highest quality produce while burning through up to 10x fewer fossil fuels per square foot than most of the facilities in North America and Europe. All within just hours to any retail point in North America."

According to Pablo, this is the first of many Rising Parks to come tailored for different crops and markets. "And just the beginning of our mission to build the future of food sustainability in a scalable and profitable way."
