We had a short conversation with Erik Jansen, key account manager & business development manager at Signify, over the phone in the morning. His usual enthusiasm was noticed during the conversation, especially since they successfully finished the Philips Horti LED Roadshow.
For nearly three weeks, they have been touring across the land, and, as people who visited a horticultural fair during that time will know, their stand was always well visited. So, why not get a mobile stand they can travel around with?
And that’s what they did. The mobile stand got decorated, and personal invites were sent out. Those invites are important to make everyone aware of their presence and ensure things go in the right direction. They are completely booked through, with an appointment every half hour.
New LED products
Erik Jansen: "We recently launched a couple of new LED products: Toplight Force and the new versions of the Toplighting Compact and Toplighting Lineair. The last two have become even more efficient while keeping the same spectra. There is a lot of interest in our LED products. We are glad to be able to talk to our contacts directly this way, which, to us, is a good alternative in these strange times.”
Going abroad
At the time of this article, Erik will be at Ovata in the Dutch town of Bleiswijk mainly to meet growers from the Oostland region. After that, Florensis will be in Rijsenhout and Agrolux is De Lier. Soon, the concept will also be extended to Belgium to then go on to France.
