In Kadima-Tsoraev, Israel, the managers of the Be-Sadku farm have found a strawberry weighing 289g on their property. It is the largest garden strawberry in the world, breaking the previous record of 250g.
According to the farmers, the extraordinary growth of this fruit is due to the weather conditions. It is not the only large specimen they’ve encountered this year. The berries have only ripened a little longer in the field than usual.
