Polish parcel deliverer introduces refrigerated fruit produce lockers

Refrigerated lockers where you can collect your fruit and vegetables. This is one of the new concepts developed by the Polish parcel delivery company InPost. They've launched similar pilots in Krakow and Warsaw. With this, the company hopes to gain a further foothold in the online shopping world.

These lockers are very successful in Poland. The company also has them in strategic locations, like supermarkets, in the UK and Italy. This is different from home deliveries. The company has one primary objective.

It wants to be more efficient and greener than its competitors. According to CEO Rafal Brzoska, their couriers now, after all, no longer have to criss-cross the entire city to deliver packages to people's homes.

InPost wants to list itself on the Amsterdam stock exchange. They are going to expand into the Netherlands and Belgium yet. Rafal says he's, however, definitely keeping that in mind.
