Two new gantries installed in NPEC greenhouse

On November 4-5, our partner SMO has delivered and installed two gantries in the NPEC greenhouse. These gantries have a length of 11 meters and span the total surface of two compartments in the greenhouse. The gantries will each be equipped with 2 Phenospecs PlantEye scanners allowing multispectral imaging and 3D scanning of plants. In addition, thermal cameras will be mounted to the gantries giving the possibility of high-resolution thermal imaging of plants in the NPEC greenhouse.

One of the compartments where the gantries are installed will also contain a PlantDitech Plantarry System, allowing to combine multispectral- and thermal imaging with gravimetric phenotyping to study plant water household.

Below a timelapse recording of the placing of the gantry system can be found.
