Total Grey nets with a zero environmental impact

The Santa Giustina lake and the Non Valley provide the scenic backdrop to the Osvaldo Seppi apple orchard in Sanzeno (Trento). The orchard covers around 1 hectare and is dedicated to the Tessa brand part of the Fengapi variety, fruit of a crossbreed between Gala and Cripps Pink.

This club variety is covered with Total Grey net, a color studied by Artes Politecnica to favor fruit coloring and having zero environmental impact.

After various laboratory and field tests all over the world, Artes developed a net with a thread diameter of 0.33mm and a completely grey pigment mixed with carbon black and UV-stabilized. The final product guarantees excellent resistance to hail and weather events and is long lasting.

In addition, its innovative color prevents scorching as it provides 11% shading and favors light refraction even when the sun is not as strong.
