Russia: 15 ha greenhouse complex to be constructed in Tver region

The government of the Tver region (Russia) have discussed financial support of an investment project in Kuvshinovo town. The construction of the greenhouse complex is carried out with the state support measures.

As of today, a decision on financing the first phase of the greenhouse complex construction in the amount of 10.7 million euro has been made. In all, the investments in the Kuvshinovo project should reach 50.7 million euro.

The innovative greenhouse complex Kuvshinovsky will become one of the leading enterprises in the region. Its acreage will amount to 15 ha. The production capacity is planned to be 14 thousand tons of vegetables and greenery per year. The complex will grow cucumbers (10350 tons a year), tomatoes (3300 tons a year), as well as lettuce and greenery, reports the press service of the Tver regional government.
