Roof glazing has been completed in the greenhouses of the first phase of the Turovsky greenhouse complex, reported the press service of the Moscow Ministry of Agriculture.
“The acreage of the main vegetable growing greenhouse comprises 5 hectares, and one hectare is allocated for the nursery”, shared the head of the Ministry, Mr. Andrey Razin.
The plants will be grown in the greenhouse in accordance with contemporary technologies, with the implementation of hydroponics, microclimate management and assimilation lighting. It is planned to produce over four thousand tons of vegetables a year.
The construction of the first phase of the greenhouse complex would require investments in the amount of 22 million euros, 19.5 of which have already been allocated. It is planned to launch the complex in the third quarter of the current year. Over 100 working places will be created here.
