According to data from the Agrodata Peru website, Peru exported 6,852,007 kilos of Tahiti limes for an FOB value of $ 6,269,729 during the first nine months of 2019. These figures reveal an important growth over the same period of 2018 when the country exported 5,136,144 kilos for $4,882,587 dollars.
The main destination between January and September 2019 was Chile, with shipments for $ 2,805,521 (45% of the total). It was followed by the United Kingdom with $1,055,134, the United States with $840,836, the Netherlands with $691,504, Panama with $668,176, and the Dominican Republic with $190,591, among others.
The main exporting companies in the aforementioned period were Limones Piuranos SAC with sales for $1,395,056, COEXA with $1,035,255, Frutícola Olmos EIRL with $699,067, Limones Peruanos SRL with $522,016; Promotora y Servicios Lambayeque SAC with $382,304 dollars; Grupo Gerónimo Trading SRL with $279,273, Grupo Seleyvi Trading SAC with $259,417, and Industrias Agroforestales Casablanca SAC with $252,713, among others.
