MA: Precision irrigation in a blueberry farm in Agadir

In Agadir, Morocco, the climate is very dry and in the summer the temperatures are very high. For African Blue South Farms, a 20-hectare blueberry greenhouse this means that irrigation is very important.

“Blueberries are a very difficult crop to manage agronomically speaking. To ensure its survival, we must be careful with the irrigation parameters of pH and EC.”

In this video, Manager Medhi explains how they irrigate with groundwater, that is filtered by sand filters and screen filters, and how they use the equipment of Netafim. “All our irrigation is automated, whether it is drip irrigation or sprinkler misting.”
