On September 20th the Kagome Board of Directors passed a resolution to replace the Representative Director. Through the replacement, the company aims to strengthen its management structure in order to accelerate the implementation of medium-term business plans for the achievement of its long-term vision, the transformation from a "tomato company" to a "vegetable company."
The previous Representative Director, Naoyuki Terada, will hand the directing chair to Satoshi Yamaguchi on January 1st, 2020. Naoyuki will assume the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, who will not have the right of representation.
