Locally-produced vegetables from Mahaseel, the marketing arm of Hassad Food, are now available in Al Meera stores.
Mahaseel, which was established by Hassad with the aim of supporting the private agricultural sector in achieving self-sufficiency, aims to contribute to said self-sufficiency in the vegetables sector, easing the burden on local farmers in order to focus on enhancing the quality and quantity of local produce.
Last week, Mahaseel launched the first phase of marketing local produce. More than 124 productive farms have now registered with Mahaseel to benefit from the company’s marketing services. This is equivalent to around 16% of the total number of the 800 local productive farms across the country.
