Introduction of the new element of growth at GreenTech

From June 12 until 14 the third edition of international horticulture trade show GreenTech took place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. With over 450 exhibitors and visitors from all over the world this is one of the biggest trade shows for horticulture business. For this GreenTech edition the focus for Hoogendoorn was on knowledge sharing and the introduction of the new element of growth. Hoogendoorn was present with its international team, including Dutch, English, French, Spanish, German, Arabian, Russian and Chinese speaking representatives. They demonstrated to visitors the existing Hoogendoorn products, including the iSii process computer and Work-IT management information system. In addition to the known automation solutions Hoogendoorn introduced its new extra services, the Hoogendoorn Online customer portal and Sense2Grow wireless sensors platform.

Knowledge sharing
In cooperation with partners Svensson, Cultilene and Koppert, Hoogendoorn organized two breakfast workshops on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. The aim of these workshops was to share knowledge about all different aspects of Plant Empowerment and the plant balances. Additionally, Hoogendoorn organized a joint presentation in the Trends & Innovations theatre, together with Letsgrow.com. The subject of the presentation was ‘Smarter Growing’ and explained the background and applications of using a thermographic camera to optimize plant growth.
