What would you say is the most important topic in horticulture at the moment?
The most important topics for the horticultural sector worldwide at this moment are:
• Higher food security
• less energy usage
• less water usage
What have you done at the Greentech?
Gakon has presented itself at the Greentech with her newly integrated departments water systems, automation and screening systems.
What project that you’re currently involved in are you most proud of?
We are proud of all our projects but one of our most actual projects at this moment is a 16ha project in the neighborhood of Munich, Germany which we have started in week 10 and is already glazed completely.
How do you see the future of horticulture?
The demand for higher food security, quality flowers, better plants, innovative ways of growing and responsible ownership of the earth is rising. Our aim is to provide products and systems for this demand and help to solve this with the knowledge and experience we have.
