Biggest Russian greenhouse complex to open in Tula region
The biggest Russian greenhouse complex of 80 ha will appear in Tula region. It is planned to grow tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce there. All-year production will be equipped with all contemporary technological equipment.
March 15, 2018 the ceremony of symbolic first stone laying of the Tulskiy greenhouse complex was conducted.
The construction agreement was concluded between the governor of Tula region, Alexey Dyumin and the executive director of Tulskiy greenhouses company, Oleg Makhailov within the economic forum in Saint Petersburg.
“The company has all possibilities for completing the project successfully within the agreed terms”, underlined Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of economic development of Tula region, Grigoriy Lavrukhin.
As the press service of the regional administration reports, the first phase of the construction will be completed in 2019, the second one in the fourth quarter of 2020, and the third phase in the fourth quarter of 2021. It is planned to hire over 1,000 employees.
The amount of investments will exceed 281 million euros.
