The 2017-2018 Center for Growing Talent by PMA (CGTbyPMA) Board of Directors took office Oct. 18 during Produce Marketing Association’s (PMA) 2017 Fresh Summit Convention & Expo.
Board of Directors Chair Leonard Batti, vice president of Taylor Farms, Salinas, Calif., remains at the helm for the second year of his term. He is joined by three other officers and 19 directors.
“We’re excited to have new produce and floral industry leaders join an existing group of influential and enthusiastic board members,” said Batti.
“We’re also grateful for the leadership of those board members whose terms are completed, as we have benefitted greatly from their leadership. The Center for Growing Talent by PMA’s agenda for 2018 is to build on 10+ years of success to bring even more industry-specific talent solutions to the produce and floral industry. We will need the board’s leadership, and the industry’s support, to make that happen.”
