European know-how sprouts Chinese agricultural parks

Numerous times we have written about the potential for advanced greenhouse development in China. In recent years, China's controlled environment agriculture sector has made great progress, due to vigorous support by the Chinese government and capital investment. However, the available technology and knowledge is still stay on a low level. As the country is getting more and more serious about food safety and security, China aims at a next level industry.

The shortage of facilities and technology has become the biggest obstacle to the development of Chinese greenhouse agriculture. Cooperation between China and EU companies should provide better technical support for China's agricultural development. In return, China's huge potential market will also bring more and better opportunities for European companies.

For this reason, Beijing Kingpeng strives to work closely with European and Dutch suppliers of greenhouse horticulture technology. They are involved in the development of several high tech greenhouse clusters announced by the Chinese government. The Chinese have set up many national high-tech agricultural park programs in important agricultural regions, such as Qinghai, Yunnan, Taizhou in Jiangsu and Shandong province. These high-tech agricultural parks not only include industrialized soilless cultivation greenhouses, but also organic plant breeding stations, combined with other activities such as agricultural tourism agriculture to promote local and regional characteristics.

China's domestic greenhouse corporations need to set sights on world level, seek more advanced technology and ideas in order to push the development of their greenhouse industry. Technology is needed, but also knowledge and guidance in the field; Over the past period, a growing amount of Chinese agricultural enterprises have spared no expense in inviting Dutch experts to manage their greenhouses.

One of the modern agricultural parks currently under construction is Dezhou Qingyun Agriculture Park. Here Kingpeng is completing the project under European standards on design, production and construction. The company will also provide technical service and operation guidance after completion.
