AT&T helps Koppert create a buzz around the world
Koppert chose AT&T as its global supplier for advanced communications services to enhance safety and security as well as distribution of information.
For almost 50 years Koppert has helped growers to optimize their cultivation in a sustainable way. They offer innovative solutions in crop protection, pest management, and natural pollination. AT&T's extensive global reach will help the company to continue its work around the world to make agriculture safer, healthier and more productive.
AT&T will connect Koppert's 42 offices with a global private network spanning 26 countries. The network allows Koppert to run new communication tools and improve cooperation across its global community.
Employees will be able to conduct their research around the world from any office, developing ground-breaking solutions and products. They can share data and large research files quickly, reliably and securely.
"We work in a changing environment. This is why it is important for us to share information with all of our offices around the globe, whether they are located in Brazil or China," said Leon Bakkers, IT Co-ordinator at Koppert Biological Systems. "With a better and more reliable communications network, AT&T is helping us reach our goal of growing our business in new markets and making agriculture sustainable and safe. It is allowing us to continue learning about the world around us through research."
Recently, the IDC MarketScape affirmed the global coverage of AT&T and its ability to provide services to global multinational corporations such as Koppert. IDC MarketScape named AT&T a Leader in the 2015 global service provider IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Telecom Service Provider 2015 Vendor Analysis.
AT&T will move Koppert's current communications platform, managed by local providers and Koppert's own IT team, to a single network managed by AT&T. This will simplify and improve Koppert's IT setup and cut costs.
"We're proud to support Koppert as it works to make the world a safer and healthier place. Our global reach and reliable network will support Koppert employees no matter their location, whether it's the Netherlands or Brazil," said John Vladimir Slamecka, AT&T's regional vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
