At a meeting of sponsors, participants and other stakeholders from Van der Ende WK Greenhouse Building (WK Kassie Bouwen) the program for Saturday, October 10th was announced.With a renewed program and a special contest for children, Van der Ende WK Kassie Bouwen has become an event for the whole family. Children can enjoy themselves in a children's paradise. A barber cuts and grooms mustaches and beards. There is a traditional eel smoker and ice cream is made on an old tractor. A dance group gives some spectacular shows and the Kassenbouwenkoor (choir) is present.
The official opening starts at 10.45 a.m, and at 11.00 a.m. the junior builders of some 12 elementary schools will compete at the Westland World Junior Kassie Bouwen contest. The professionals start at 2.30 p.m. for the Van der World Ende Kassie Bouwen contest and are expected to end with the thrilling final round at 6.40 p.m. Subsequently there is a big party with performances by artists and a DJ. The day ends at 10.00 p.m.
The Van der Ende WK Kassie Bouwen is an annual event organized by Stichting World Kassie Bouwen with the main objective to raise funds for development projects. The event takes place on Saturday, October 10th in a hall on the ABC Westland site in Poeldijk Agri & Food
