A major greenhouse farming project is to start in six subcounties in Kisumu. It targets smallscale farmers from Kisumu East, Kisumu West, Nyando, Seme, Muhoroni, and Nyakach .

The project is a tripartite agreement between HortiPro, an Israeli based company with a branch in Nairobi together with a local company Gallamoro Farmtech Company Limited.

Speaking to the press at the Imperial Hotel in Kisumu on Friday, HortiPro CEO Jay Dave said they will start the constructions next week.
