Kazakhstan to implement large-scale greenhouse project

Production of off-season vegetables in the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan is to be increased by 800 tonnes with the help of National Holding Company KazAgro, - has informed the press service of the region.

Farm “Manat” located at the station Aksholak currently has a greenhouse complex in an area of 1 hectare. This year, the area of greenhouses is planned to be expanded to 3 hectares. Farmers hope to grow the operating profit up to 700 thousand Euro.

Total cost of the project is reported to be 1 million Euro. Equipment and required materials are to be imported from Turkey.
