Monsanto's Grower Academy training seminars were held between 3th and 6th June in the best areas cultivating fresh tomatoes. The courses were dedicated to producers and technicians from local companies and which concerned the "Soil-less and rootstock cultivation of tomatoes" and "Physiology and morphology of plants". Over 150 took part.
The sessions took place in Pachino and Vittoria and Dr. Paolo Battistel, a well-known consultant with experience at an international level, took part as a speaker and shared his advice.
The sessions were divided into Basic and Advanced to reach different targets and give the possibility of growing to those who already took part the previous year.
