Russia: Record harvest of 47 kilo for Trubichino

This year, greenhouse complex "Trubichino" has produced 5756 tonnes of vegetables, which is 956 tonnes more than last year. This increase is a direct result from a three hectares of new greenhouses. Next to this the increase of yield at the whole complex ensured the growth. On average, the complex harvested 39 kilograms of tomatoes per square meter, and in the new greenhouses, 47, which was a record for the agricultural enterprise.

At present the main attention is paid to the preparation of greenhouses for a new crop: they are being cleaned and disinfected. In the coming days, seeds of cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants will be sown to produce more than 350,000 transplants.
