Windset Farms® Thanks You for Supporting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

Windset Farms® would like to express their thanks and appreciation to all of its customers, suppliers and other Friends in FreshnessTM who came together to help raise $65,000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

“We are extremely grateful for all those who made generous donations and offered support,” said John Newell, COO of Windset Farms®. “With their assistance, we were able to continue our efforts in supporting a cause that we believe in.”

This contribution was made possible through the combined efforts of the Windset Farms® regional sponsorship of $25,000 combined with donations made by their Friends in FreshnessTM for the CIBC Run for the Cure. Additionally, these donations were matched dollar-for-dollar by Windset and 10 percent of net proceeds from their 8oz and 1.5lb ConcertoTM Grape Tomato sales was dedicated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation for the month of October.

“October may be over but the goal of eradicating this disease isn’t”, adds Newell, “that is why, Windset Farms® will remain fully committed to helping The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation continue their important mission.”
