Last week the I-Demodays were kept at Demokwekerij (demo nursery) Westland. The tests in the Demokwekerij were open to interested parties, the Greenhouse Techno Center was officially opened and in various sessions and meetings discussed were held on developments in horticulture.
Wednesday, October 2, on the first day of the I-Demodays, the Techno Center was opened. The Techno Centre accommodates companies to demonstrate innovations in the field of automation and robotics. The trials conducted here might provide food for discussion and fine-tuning, eventually putting the innovation into practice. Companies inside and outside the horticulture can participate.
The Demokwekerij wants foremost to build a bridge between various sources of knowledge in horticulture. The institution receives 11,000 visitors annually, about 30% of which is foreign. International schools are welcome to use the facilities.
