Spain: A tomato of 300 Euros head price in lottery

During alottery in Valle del Guadalhorce, Malaga, a tomato of 300 Euro was won byactress Victoria Abril. The large beef tomato, called the Huevo Toro delGuadalhorce, is grown in the open air, heart shaped and has almost no seeds.

VictoriaAbril promotes this tomato from the vegetable garden of Guadalhorce. Theactress told the press that, "the world must know this tomato".

The winningticket was drawn by the cooperative Guadalhorce Ecológico, represented by JoséMaría Gómez Florido, a group of ecological producers. The jury was composed offood critics and professionals of the best restaurants in Malaga.
