UK-based CN Seeds has announced the appointment of Ian Botes as its new Commercial Director.
Ian brings over a decade of commercial leadership experience within the global seed industry. He joins CN Seeds from Enza Zaden, where he most recently served as Commercial Director for the United States. In that role, he led regional sales strategies and drove operational performance across the North American market.

Prior to his time in the U.S., Ian spent six years at Enza Zaden's headquarters in the Netherlands, working globally as a leafy vegetable Portfolio Manager. His deep technical knowledge, paired with his international experience, has allowed him to build a strong network within the industry and gain insights into emerging trends and opportunities across multiple markets.
According to CN Seeds Managing Director Dan Nye, Ian's appointment aligns with the company's ambitions to scale its operations both domestically and internationally. "We are very proud to have been able to appoint Ian to this role. His experience and track record are key for our long-term ambitions to grow the business by expanding our sales team and establishing a greater presence in overseas markets."

Ian has recently relocated from the U.S. to Ely, Cambridgeshire, with his family to begin his new role. "I'm excited to join CN Seeds at such a pivotal time," he said.
