Strategic partnership to support mobile gully systems in North America

Hort Americas, a North American supplier of commercial greenhouse products and hydroponic solutions, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Hortiplan, a global innovator in Mobile Gully Systems (MGS) for leafy greens and herbs, a step in bringing advanced, scalable, and automated production systems to controlled environment agriculture (CEA) operations across North America.

After more than 30 years of designing, building and servicing mobile gully systems (MGS) around the world, Hortiplan felt the time was right to expand their Belgium-based services and offer local support in the North American markets.

Hortiplan feels like Hort Americas was the right partner at the right time. As part of the agreement, Hort Americas will be trained to provide localized sales, technical support, and after-sales service for Hortiplan's Mobile Gully Systems, enabling growers in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to integrate cutting-edge hydroponic technologies with confidence and reliability that comes with local support.

"We are excited to bring Hortiplan's proven Mobile Gully Technology, support and services to our clients," said Chris Higgins, President of Hort Americas. "This partnership allows us to offer commercial growers the tools they need to increase labor efficiency, optimize crop quality, and scale their production sustainably."

Hortiplan's Mobile Gully Systems are recognized globally for their automation, clean design, and efficient space utilization — offering growers a practical solution for producing high volumes of leafy greens with minimal manual handling.

"Our collaboration with Hort Americas aligns with our mission to bring innovative, cost-effective technology to modern greenhouses around the world," said Emanuel Marreel, Director at Hortiplan. "Together, we aim to empower North American growers to meet the rising demand for fresh, local produce using smart and sustainable solutions."

The partnership will be built up over time as Hort Americas looks to add the staff and knowledge needed to offer system integration consulting, customer support, and training to commercial growers seeking to adopt mobile gully solutions in both new and retrofitted greenhouse projects.
