bell pepper weighing system presented at GreenTech

"Better data for optimal bell pepper irrigation strategy"

In partnership with Van Der Knaap Group, Wireless Value is developing a comprehensive bell pepper weighing system. This system will be showcased for the first time at GreenTech Amsterdam.

The new system filters out crop movement and harvest from the raw irrigation data, providing clearer information that helps growers refine their irrigation strategy. This is illustrated in the graph below. The red line represents the raw data, which naturally drops after harvest. An algorithm generates a green line that does not react to the harvest, offering better insight into the irrigation status of the pepper crop.

The Wireless Value weighing system is compatible with both V and 4R systems and is designed to work with crops that are partially upright and hanging, such as bell peppers and aubergines.

Wireless Value will be at GreenTech Amsterdam from June 10 to 12, located at stand 05.309.
