Belarusian agricultural enterprise has shipped already 900 tons of cucumbers for consumers

Located in one of the largest greenhouse vegetable-producing regions in Belarusian, the Rudakovo agricultural complex has seen a successful yield this year, surpassing last year's collection by 20 tons. Approximately 900 tons of fresh cucumbers from the enterprise have already been dispatched to consumers.

Raisa Krupatina, the head of the greenhouse complex, noted, "We began harvesting slightly earlier than last year, favoring promising and well-tested varieties. Our priority remains the domestic market, ensuring no disruptions in the supply chain to our partner retailers. Moreover, unlike imported produce, our cucumbers have maintained stable prices, reflecting consumer preference for quality local products."

In early April, tomato greenhouses are expected to ripen. Similar marketing strategies will be employed, with priority given to supplying Belarusian stores, followed by regions in Russia under long-term contracts.
