HortEx Vietnam, the new International Exhibition and Conference for Horticultural and Floricultural Production and Processing Technology in Vietnam, is pleased to announce that SERCOM from the Netherlands and their partner Agri Solutions Asia from Thailand have confirmed their participation.
HortEx Vietnam is held from 14-16 March 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City. With welcoming these two companies as latest participants, the exhibition is hosting a growing number of International key industry players that choose HortEx Vietnam as platform to start or expand their business in Vietnam.
Climate computer and automation developer SERCOM already provides a wide range of sustainable solutions in Asia for the horticultural industry, including the automation of irrigation units and climate control in greenhouses. Agri Solutions Asia, based in Thailand, is the representative of SERCOM for the South East Asian Market. Agri Solutions Asia serves the ever-growing greenhouse industry in South East Asia. Founded in 2004, the company has over a decade of experience and expertise in the development of horticultural projects in the region.
Besides having their own tomato farm for production of their renowned brand ‘Take Me Home Tomatoes”, they focus on the development and sales of the technology required by the industry in the region. The fact that they are also growers themselves in Asia, besides supplying the technology, enables them to stay at the forefront of new innovations in the industry.
Together with SERCOM, Agri Solutions Asia developed an irrigation solution that is accessible for the smaller farmer in South East Asia. Jan-Willem Lut, Director of SERCOM says: “The South East Asian market is becoming more and more important for us and Vietnam is one of the fastest growing markets in that region. Therefore our presence at HortEx Vietnam is a logical choice and we believe that it will be the right place for us to grow our business in Vietnam and neighbouring countries”.
