"Rolling out real-time nutrient analysis globally with international investment funds"

The Dutch greenhouse industry is not leading the way in real-time analysis of nutrients in irrigation and drainage water. This observation is made by CEO Simon Meijer of CE-Line in a conversation with Nieuwe Oogst. According to him, this is mainly due to the numerous laboratories scattered across the country. Specifically, in countries like Mexico or Tunisia, there is a need to quickly know the composition of irrigation and wastewater, as it takes a long time to have samples from the greenhouse analyzed in the Netherlands.

Therefore, CE-Line aims to roll out the innovation globally with international investment funds that are somewhat familiar with the greenhouse industry. To gain a foothold across the ocean, CE-Line will start collaborating with the American dealer Dramm from March onwards.

Last autumn, Horticoop and Yield Lab Europe joined as investors in the scale-up now based in Emmeloord.
