CambridgeHOK glazing crews working at full stretch throughout the North and North West of England

UK: Greenhouse constructors respond quickly to severe weather

As record breaking wind speeds are recorded in the West of England on the evening of Wednesday February 12, CambridgeHOK took a call from APS Salads at Alderley Edge in Cheshire. The following morning glazing crews arrived and by Thursday evening the glasshouse was repaired. Philip Pearson said “The response from CambridgeHOK was unbelievable, as it always is, and we all worked together to ensure a big problem didn’t become a disaster”.

"We have all our glazing crews working at full stretch throughout the North and North West of England at the moment," said Ross Hibbs from CambridgeHOK last week. Thankfully we carry a good stock of glass and spares and we are trying where ever possible to get glasshouses closed in before the next storm hits later."

The storms in the UK are amongst the worst ever recorded and record rainfall has caused widespread flooding throughout the country.
