Crisis at PlantLab; three board members resign
PlantLab main activity is the cultivation of crops in closed environments without daylight, the so-called Plant Production Units (PPU). The new R & D centre in the old De Gruyter factory in Den Bosch, was opened three months ago in the presence of King Willem-Alexander.

What happened is actually unclear. One of the current directors, Leon van Duijn, is denying that the three board members have resigned. The three departed executives are not commenting so as not to harm the interests of the company.
PlantLab has developed a patented technology in which crops grow in Plant Production Units without daylight. The opening of the new facility was supposed to be the start of a big rollout of the PlantLab concept with international partners and various markets.
