One of the early beneficiaries of The eRobota government grant program was "Rosy Bukovina", a farming enterprise based in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. They prepared documentation and estimates to establish an apple orchard of 15 hectares. Their application received approval from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, allocating a grant of 141,000 euros.
Continuing their progress, "Rosy Bukovina" secured a subsequent grant for future projects. Bogdan Maliy, the head of "Rosy Bukovina", elaborated on ongoing preparations for planting, including soil conditioning and the strategic use of cover crops. Despite constraints on available varieties, they remain committed to selected types like Gala and Golden Delicious.
"Rosy Bukovina" plans to develop cherry and apricot cultivation in a greenhouse, exploring opportunities within the "Your Own Greenhouse" grant program.
